FOGGIE FLOWER SHOW 2013
The 2013 Foggie Flower Show promises to bring a wide variety of attractions for all ages. The Inverurie Pipe Band will start off proceedings in the afternoon with the highland dancing competition beginning at 12.30pm. The show will be officially opened by Mrs. Clare Russell, Lord Lieutenant of Banffshire and the presentation of trophies will commence at 2.45pm. Aberchirder Primary School competition winners will also be presented with their trophies. Highlights in the afternoon include the sports programme and children’s races (with prizes), baby show, dog show and a demo by the LJ Street Dance group. In the evening the Grand Fancy Dress Parade and Pageant also proves a big hit. Local live band Cover 2 Cover will play at the last Big Marquee Dance.
